Guided Trail Running

There is something very special about packing the kit that you need and getting out into the hills for a few hours. Running in beautiful places can have a wonderful effect on your mental wellbeing not to mention the myriad excuses to bring snacks!

The guided trail runs I organise are aimed at different types of runner. If it’s your first time away from the tarmac and trail running is very new to you then our Introduction To Trail Running series will be a great to way meet new likeminded people and learn the basics of running in lumpy places. I tend to run these sessions in The Peak District on easy trails that always seem to lead to a cafe or pub. For some post run sustenance of course!

For more experienced runners, I organise Bespoke Guided Runs in various locations. This can include race recces for ultramarathons or a guided scenic route such as the Edale Skyline or the Hope Valley Round.

Get in touch to arrange a guided run here I also organise a monthly Long Run Clubwhere we meet up on the trails and do a long trail run which tries to cater for each runner’s training plan for that week. This will often be a looped route so that runners can head back to the car at a given point and meet the longer runners in the cafe (or pub) at the end. See the Event Calendaror keep an eye on the instagram page for information on upcoming meets.
